Hot Chocolate Dip
This hot chocolate dip is a simple treat for dipping fruits, cookies, and more. It makes an easy, delightful dessert for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 8 ounce Cool Whip
- 3 ½ ounces marshmallow fluff half of a 7 ounce jar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 packets Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix
Optional toppings:
- Mini marshmallows
- Chocolate shavings
- Sprinkles
Instructions
- Add the cream cheese to a large mixing bowl. With an electric or hand mixer, mix on medium speed for 1 minute.
- Add the whipped topping, marshmallow fluff, cocoa powder and packets of hot chocolate mix.
- Mix again until ingredients are incorporated and the dip is smooth.
- Transfer to a serving dish and top with optional mini marshmallows, chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
- Enjoy with oreos, graham crackers, cookies, fruit, etc.
Notes
To ensure a smooth, lump-free dip, ensure your cream cheese is softened at room temperature before mixing. This will help it blend seamlessly with the other ingredients.
Adding more marshmallow fluff or hot chocolate mix will make the dip sweeter. You can also reduce the fluff or hot cocoa mix if you prefer it to be less sweet.
