Pre-heat Air Fryer at 375°F (191°C), using the Bake button. Set at 12 minutes.
Thoroughly wash and pat dry tomatoes, then cut in half, lengthwise.
On a baking tray, place Air Fryer tray and top with parchment paper. If an Air Fryer uses a basket instead, add the parchment paper to the crisper plate.
Add 2 sprigs fresh thyme and drizzle with 1 teaspoon olive oil. Then sprinkle salt and black pepper in the center of the parchment paper.
Gently place a block of feta on top and add halved tomatoes around the feta.
Top feta with the remaining sprigs of fresh thyme and sprinkle with garlic, chili flakes, salt and black pepper. Drizzle the remaining olive oil all over the halved tomatoes and the block of feta.
Gently insert the Air Fryer tray into the middle cooking chamber of the Air Fryer oven, near the rotisserie catch.
If the Air Fryer uses a basket, add the crisper plate, then insert the basket into the Air Fryer unit.
Air Fry for 10 to 12 minutes or until the feta turns slightly golden on the side and the tomatoes are slightly softened.
Serve with your favorite saltines or keto crackers.
Notes
This Air Fryer recipe uses an Instant Vortex Plus Air Fryer Oven. Not all Air Fryers cook the same way. It’s best to keep watch during your initial tests after purchasing.
