I’ve tried making overnight oats recipes a ton but my kids never loved them much because of their ultra-chewy texture. But here’s the secret: if you BLEND the oats, they come out smooth and not chunky!
These strawberry overnight oats are made with Greek yogurt for some staying power and frozen berries for a pop of freshness. Sweetened with honey, when topped with my favorite keto granola recipe they’re downright indulgent.

What Makes Them Different💭
Blending: Combining some or all of the oats in a blender with the liquid ingredients makes for a smoother, richer taste and texture.
Frozen berries: They keep the yogurt overnight oats cold and give a burst of bright flavor.
Naturally sweetened: depending on your yogurt flavor, you only need a smidge of honey for these oats to become indulgent.
Ingredients and Substitutions

- Greek yogurt: Use a plain, full-fat Greek yogurt for the best texture. If you’re using a flavored yogurt, taste test before you add the honey, as you may not need it!
- Frozen berries: We used strawberries for these oats, but any frozen fruit you have on hand works.
- Oats: You want regular oats for the recipe, as quick oats become a bit mushy. And grab gluten-free rolled oats if needed.

Flavors To Try
There are a zillion ways to flavor the strawberry overnight oats are a few we rotate through.
Indulgent: Add a drizzle of melted white or dark chocolate to the top. It actually hardens like a shell and is amazing.
Extra fruity: Swirl in some old fashioned blueberry pancake syrup or my raspberry compote recipe.
Crunch: Add anything texture-based like toasted nuts, coconut, or seeds.

Pro tip: Layer In The Blender
Add the liqydi ingredients to the blender first and the fruit and oats last. This makes it easier for your blender.
- Taste test the mixture in the blender before pouring it over the oats and adjust anything you need to.
- Overnight yogurt oats taste best when they’ve had a chance to sit overnight in the fridge.
- Do not add crunchy toppings until you’re ready to serve, or they’ll become soggy.
- You can portion them into a large container and scoop to serve or into mini containers for individual grab-and-go.
- Storing: Greek yogurt overnight oats store best in the fridge for up to 3 days. Give them a mix before enjoying, as they will separate a bit.
How To Serve Them
These strawberry yogurt oats can be enjoyed all on their own or as part of a larger meal.
- Use them as a quick breakfast or snack to grab on busy sports days.
- Pair them with chocolate chip banana bread no oil, for a larger breakfast.

Notes
- The more oats you blend the thiner but smoother the overnight oats will be. If you like a bit of texture, make sure to leave about half of the oats while (fifty-fifty is a good split).
- Add the wet ingredients to the blender first to make it easier to combine everything.
- You can blend the frozen berries until they’re fully processed or leave some chunks for texture.
- Portion the oats once blended into a large container or individual jars. Both ways work.
